Zander is Cruising

"Cruising" refers to a baby walking by holding onto objects like chairs. Check out Zander in this video cruising with a chair. He'll be mowing the lawn in no time. At least, that's my plan. My only question now is, where can I buy a toy lawn mower?

Zander meets Kate

Zander (8 months old) met his cousin, Kate (4 months old) at Andrew's (another cousin) Red Egg Party. There have been a lot of babies born lately! Watch this video of Yvonne, Zander, Vanessa, and Kate. Vanessa is Yvonne's cousin.

Zander Says “Ma ma”

Zander has two words now. "Ma ma" for his mommy. And everthing else is "ba ba."

At eight months, it seems a little early for his first word. But he is definitely saying "ma ma." Check of the video.

No doubt about it. And he only says it when he wants Yvonne. For everything else, he says "ba ba."

Zander Goes Swimming

Zander went swimming at our neighborhood pool. He loved it. Of course, he can't swim on his own yet, but he loved me moving him through the water. Watch this video of him kicking his legs.

Next Family Vacation?

We're trying to decide where to go on our next vacation. We have a baby, so it needs to be kid friendly. Someplace relaxing and slowpaced, as well. Here's the list so far. My first choice would be the Bahamas, since a co-worker came back with great pics of him snorkling. I've never been. If you have let me know what you thought. If you have any suggestions, let me know (add a comment below). Yvonne really wants someplace we can all relax and not have to rush around to "see the sights." I just want to swim.

• San Diego. Yvonne wants to go to the San Diego Zoo, among other things.
• Florida Keys
• Acapulco

Zander Says Yeh!

Zander has grown quite a bit in the past few months, both physically and mentally. He really likes to interact and play.

New Zander Photos

Zander is 6 months old now. In the first picture above, he's one month old. He's grown so much. He's crawling and saying "ma ma" for mommy (see video on home page). He loves toys and playing, and he has been eating food for about a month. His favorite was a Taro Shake.
